Project SOAR Recovery Residences has helped recovering alcohol and substance abusers and the dually-diagnosed throughout South Florida since 2010.
Our founder, Michael Aulbach, envisioned a program where those in need of sobriety and stability could thrive in a program that is safe, clean, and promotes responsibility. His belief has always been that everyone deserves a chance to be a contributing member of our community.
Our State and FARR certified transitional housing program primarily serves the dual-diagnosed residents and those who are either seeking employment in the community, currently employed, or are enrolled in a job training or educational program.
Residents are provided a clean, safe, comfortable, alcohol and drug free, supportive living environment.
Residents are given the opportunity to focus in the areas of life skills development, substance abuse counseling, case management, education, employment and housing search.
The goal of Project SOAR is to help participants remain sober and achieve independence from transitional living housing.
Support is provided to participants to ensure a successful recovery.
Our program rules were created with the hope that each resident learns to develop self-discipline, accountability, responsibility, and respectability.
Following completion of a 12-Step Program, Project SOAR will facilitate the program participant’s transition out of our residence and into permanent housing.
For those interested, Project SOAR also offers permanent housing for residents that have successfully completed our program. We are dedicated to only accepting those individuals who are committed to their recovery. To speak with an admissions specialist, contact us today.
Hello and welcome to Project SOAR! We appreciate your interest in our program and we're incredibly excited to join you on your journey toward sustainable recovery. We thought we'd share a brief glimpse into what it's like being a resident of Project SOAR. As always, our team is happy to speak with you over the phone OR in person - we're here to help!
On on any given day, residents are expected to wake up and leave their personal space cleaner and neater than they left it the day before. Every day during the week, each resident in the home will come together as one and read from a book called "Reflections", officially marking the beginning of the day. Most residents head to work or an outpatient treatment appointment, or are looking for work in the community.
Project SOAR maintains a strict curfew of 10:30PM unless you are employed and our team can verify your employment hours. Residents are expected to attend a minimum of three AA or NA meetings per week, in addition to the weekly house meeting on Sunday. Project SOAR routinely conducts both random and selective breathalyzer and urinalysis screenings.
Our entire team is here to help with any additional services that may be helpful towards achieving and maintaining your sobriety. We're proud of the relationships we've built over the years across the South Florida region, and are here to utilize those resources and assist you in maintaining your sobriety at Project SOAR.
Our recovery residences are located in the heart of sunny Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Beaches.
